What to Expect during Psychotherapy
After an initial assessment in West End, London, there is no need to proceed if you decide not to. As Client and Therapist, we may take the opportunity to explore the current or unresolved past difficulties for which you are considering Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Psychotherapy practice is right for you.The aim of my Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment, concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported and develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept. To get the most from Psychotherapy you will need to be able to be open to change, speak openly with me and reflect and work collaboratively.
As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, I am highly trained and experienced in using Psychoanalytic Therapy and Relational Therapy to work with people who experience problems in the areas of love, work or play.

I cannot know why you are reading this. However, it is possible that you are in distress or finding life has reached a dreadful standstill. Or perhaps someone close to you is.
If this is the case, I am sorry. In counselling and therapy we can focus upon the issues. I do not push clients in certain directions or instruct them about how I feel they should solve their problems.
Instead, we think together about the issues that affect them, and explore their feelings and thoughts.
