Clinical Experience in Counselling

Welcome. My name is Katy Sixsmith. I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor. I work with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience. My private Counselling practice is in Stockport.

I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor since October 2011 (Registered since October 2011) so I have more than 1 year and 7 months of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals and Couples. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling to people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular challenges they face.

As well as being a Counsellor in private practice in Stockport, I have experience as a NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT) Counsellor.
