Clinical Experience in Counselling

I provide counselling to clients looking for solutions to difficulties in their lives, in the present. I have experience in working with issues involving loss, relationships, mild to moderate depression, anxiety and sexuality. I work both in an NHS setting using brief therapy as well as longer term private work.

What to Expect during Counselling

My objective is to raise the awareness of feelings within the client, in the present, and focus their awareness in an holistic sense i.e., emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. I also use cognitive behavioural techniques as appropriate.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling

I am Gestalt trained and maintain my clinical professionalism according to BACP standards.
