Hello. My name is Mo Cahill. I'm a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor. I work with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience. My private Counselling practice is located in Bishopston, Bristol. I also practise in Bristol and Clifton, Bristol.
I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor since May 2010 (Registered since April 2013) so I have over 3 years and 1 month of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals. I'm experienced in working with men and people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular difficulties they encounter.
In addition to being a Counsellor in private practice in Bishopston, Bristol, I have experience as a Charity, College, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counsellor.

What to Expect during Counselling
After an initial appointment in Bishopston, Bristol, there is no obligation to proceed if you decide not to. As Client and Therapist, we will utilise the private environment to explore the personal or professional challenges for which you seek Counselling. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to establish if my Counselling practice is right for you.The aim of my Counselling practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment. To get the most from Counselling you will need to be able to work collaboratively.
As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor, I am trained and experienced in using Cognitive Therapy and Integrative Cognitive Therapy to help people who experience problematic thoughts, feelings or behaviour.
